Updated room tour vanity originization

Hi again all-
This post doesn't have a whole lot to really write about.  I haven't changed a whole lot in the last year I did have a lot of issues trying to tape this with my new camera.  I know this still is not amazing but it looks better than some of the others I tried to tape.  Haha.
So my shoes racks are Billy Bookcases from Ikea.  The vanity is from Pottery Barn.  The mirror is from Vanity Girl.  The rest of the closet built in looking parts are ikea as well.  I will try to find links for everything below.  I do have a video with a little more info on my closet here.

Jewlery Tower Pottery Barn

Top Drawers on desk Pottery Barn

I hope you find this helpful and if you need any additional information on anything yoiu saw in the video please feel free to ask me!

Cheers-

Review Shu Umera The Lightbulb Foundation

Hi again all-
This product peaked my interest when I saw a bunch of bloggers reviewing it and LOVING IT!  So like any good foundation junkie, I went online followed their color matching and bought it.  At the time the only place that you could buy this was directly from Shu Umera.  Now there are a few extra places- I have listed them below.
Overall the short of this is just that I was not wow'd with this foundation like so many others.  I think that it is a nice foundation for someone with more of a dry skin.  I have combination skin and this just looked streaky and strange on me.  Now i did try it with the sponge that came with it and I didn't like the sponge either.  I prefer the beauty blender if I do use a sponge.  Can I also mention- WHY did they make this sponge white???  Yuck- so hard to clean.  I also tried my fingers and a brush, but it just didn't want to work for me.  :O(  I was so bummed.
I did send this to a friend of mine that I thought it would be better suited for and she does seem to really like it so far.
Here are some photos of the product and some swatches of how it looked on my skin.

Here is the breakdown of my thoughts on this product:

Pigmentation- 4/5
Texture- 3/5
Longevity- 2/5
Application- 3/5
Packaging- 3/5
Price- 3/5
Product Overall- 3/5

You can purchase it at the following locations:

  • Shu Umera
  • Selfridges
  • Yes Style
I hope you found this helpful and please let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers-

Review IT Cosmetics CC Cream

Hi again all-
I bought this CC cream a little while ago at Ulta.  I had seen a review about it saying it was great coverage and was good with oily combo skin.  I am not a fan of CC creams, but I decided to give it  arty.  I purchased the color light which works perfect for me right now.  I am not sure come summer though.  I have heard that there are also great deals for this on QVC, but I personally am not a big QVC person.  Not sure why.
So when I got this I was skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised.  It does have great pigmentation and coverage for basically a tinted moisturizer.  It doesn't break me out which most CC creams do and it is super easy to apply.
I picked this up because I am trying to mot wear "Makeup" to the gym, so I thought this was a good in between for when I go.  It evens out my skin tone some and yet is not heavy or doesn't clog pores like makeup does when working out and sweating.  Now keep in mind if you wipe your face on a towel it will transfer. However I feel like when I am working out and sweating it looks very natural, it doesn't look like I am made up.  I don't wear any other makeup, just this.  So overall I think it is a nice tint moisturizer if you are someone who likes those.  I would not use this as my foundation, since it doesn't have as much staying power or coverage as my "normal" foundations.
Here are a few pictures of the packaging.  I forgot a picture of a swatch.  Sorry I will try and go back and add that later.
Here is the break down of my thoughts:

Pigmentation-  4.5/5
Texture- 5/5
Longevity- 3/5
Application-  5/5
Packaging-  5/5
Price- 2.5-3/5
Product Overall-  4.5/5

You can purchase this at the following places:

I hope you found this helpful and please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi again all-
It is that time of month again where I do my face of the month (FOTM) and I have decided to change how i name these videos.  many people said they like to save them but they can't remember which one is which when they go back.  So I have decided to name is as FOTM and whatever eye look I am doing that month.  Is that more helpful?
So lets get started with what I used.
Sigma Brush- sorry I don't remember the #

I hope you enjoyed this and please let me know if you have any suggestions on the name changing.

Cheers-
Lisa
