Review Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge plus another option LisaSz09

I am so sorry- I totally thought I had posted this but it seems that I did not post it sorry.  The video went up but the blog post was missed somehow in the holiday rush!  :o)

The Boscia Konjac cleansing sponge looked like such a cool thing when I had heard about it.  Plus all the people on twitter were saying it was amazing and that it could replace your clarsonic.  Ummmmm  NOPE.  So the quick and short of it s that I was not a fan.  It was weird feeling and got hard and weird when it dried.  Plus it is already starting to fall apart.  For $18 no thanks.
I also mention in the video another option that I learned about from the girl I go to for my facials.

Boscia Konjac Sponge
Sephora
$18

So here are some closer photos and then also the link for the optional sponges that I like.

Review and Comparison Sedona Lace 968 and Sigma F80

So a while ago I had heard some talk about Sedona Lace and their brushes.  I heard they were pretty much very similar to the Sigma brushes but at a fraction of the cost.  So I decided to check them out myself.  So I purchased probably 6-8 brushes and the 968 had fast become my favorite.
This brush is pretty much a dupe for the well known Sigma F80, BUT it is cheaper, softer and cleans so much easier.  It is pink and black in color and looks pretty on your vanity.  I was surprised at just how soft it was and then when I went to clean it I am not sure if it is the pink and black, but it cleaned so much easier which is important to me.  I hate when a brush gets that foundation film left on it.
The price difference is $14.95- $21 (which doesn't seem like much) but when you add in the shipping through Sigma it can add up.  Sedona Lace always seems to have great inexpensive and fast shipping.
Now one thing I do want to mention is that they do perform the same.  Someone had asked me that after I used it on a face of the month video. Video link here.
So overall- they are very similar but I do find the major differences to be the pricing, who soft it is and how easy it cleans.
I have posted some photos of the brush and it next to the Sigma also, so you can decide for yourself.

I purchased this brush at Sedona lace online
$14.95

Review Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer and Treatment

This is a review of the Eve Pearl Salmon concealer and treatment.  Treatment being the key word here.  Every time I had heard people talk about this I just thought "yet another salmon colored concealer." So I never really gave it much thought because I knew I could only buy it online and it seemed expensive.  It tends to be $39-$44 depending on which one you purchase.  Yes I know I own some seriously expensive concealers, but something about this one just never pushed me over the edge to purchase.  So when this showed up on Hautelook for almost 1/2 off I figured what do I have to loose.  So first I purchased the one shown above with 2 colors- light and medium.  When I got it I tried it right away as I almost always do and WOW.  I was so impressed.
Lets start with the colors I received.  I purchased the light and medium one in the duo.

I like both colors, but I think the medium is a better match for me overall.  I had watched a video from MakeupGeek and she mentioned to use a darker color of this under your foundation and then to use a lighter concealer over.  That system works great for me.
So a little about it.  It is an amazingly pigmented concealer and the salmon color does really cover the dark (purple/blue) circles.  The best part is that it is a treatment too.  It is not sticky like a nomad concealer or corrector.  It really goes on smooth and does not get cake at all on me.  I will post the link to a face of the month where I use it.
So after I had this product in the Duo for a while it showed back up on Hautelook and I decided to pick up a full size of the one in the color medium.  The packaging is different and I like it way better than the duo.  If you watch my video review you will see that the duo one fell apart.  :o(  I superglued it beck together but still that shouldn't happen when you pay good money for a product.

I have tried multiple concealer corector products- here are some of my reviews and links to the products.

Bobbi Brown- http://rstyle.me/n/dyimczmbn

Giorgio Armani-  http://rstyle.me/n/dyikvzmbn
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hut0B_ztg_s

So here are my final thoughts on the Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer and treatment:
Color: the duo is light/medium and the single is a medium
You can purchase at Eve Pearl Online or you can wait for it to go on sale at Hautelook
Purchase price at Eve Pearl- $39-$44
Product Description from the Eve Pearl Website:

December Haul and Swatches

Here is to a new start on this blog!
So it seems that I will be working to get this blog together and look like the other one does.
See my other blog here:
www.beautybylisasz09.com
Let me know if there are any things you see missing or that you would like to see, since I am still in the process of getting this one up and looking the way I want it.  It will probably not be done until March though, so in the mean time I didn't want to not begin with the swatches etc.

So here we go:

The following items are the most recent purchases I have made.  I will provide links and prices below with each product.

Becca Radiant Skin Foundation
Purchased at Sephora
I purchased it in the color Buff
Purchase price is $42
It is described as (from Sephora's website)
A lightweight, medium-coverage foundation that revitalizes skin and leaves a smooth, naturally radiant finish.
http://rstyle.me/n/dn7amzmbn

Here are a few photos of the product and a swatch:

The next item I purchased is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.  I have owned this previously in the color Honey, but it was getting a bit dark on me, so I went for a lighter shade.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
Purchased at Sephora
I purchased the color Vanilla
Purchase Price- $28
It is described as (from Sephora's Website)
A creamy concealer with hydrating, multiaction skincare benefits and light diffusing technology to create a softer, smoother complexion.
http://rstyle.me/n/u8dizmbn

Here is the link of my review on this product:

Here are a few photos and swatches:

I also picked up another Marc Jacobs Style Icon Palette in Lolita since i have been hearing so many people talking about it.  I had previously owned the starlet palette but there was way to much fall out on that one for me.  I also own a trio on the colors The Glam.

Marc Jacobs Style Icon 07 Palette
Purchased at Sephora
I purchased the color Lolita
Purchase Price- $59
It is described as (from Sephora's Website)
A super skinny, sleek palette of seven eye shadows that harmoniously marry with a creamy, sumptuous finish.
http://rstyle.me/n/bb4rgzmbn

Here is the link to my review on the palette in Starlet

Here is product photos and swatches:

I also picked up the new Urban Decay NAKED 3 Palette.  Can you tell I have been on a palette kick?!?
I had sold all my NAKED Palettes a few years ago.  I always liked the original, the 2nd one I didn't like at all.  It was too cool toned for me.  But when I heard the new 3 palette had rosy tones I was super excited and decided to purchase.  It is now available at Sephora and Ulta and I would suggest buying there instead of Urban Decay like I did.  I just couldn't wait!  haha

Urban Decay NAKED 3 Palette
I purchased it from Urban Decay
Purchase Price- $52
Description from Sephora-
A mirrored compact packed with a dozen never-before-seen rose-hued neutrals, plus a double-ended brush and an Eyeshadow Primer Potion sampler.
http://rstyle.me/n/dmvqyzmbn

Here are product photos and swatches

I also picked up a brush per the conversation I had with Susan (a friend here and on twitter)
As you all know I have been on the hunt for the perfect blush brush.
Here is hoping!

Chanel Powder Blush 01
I purchased it from Nordstrom
Purchase Price- $65
Description from Nordstrom's website-
  • Designed as a professional artistry tool to be used with Chanel products, this powder brush perfectly adapts to the shape of the face for flawless powder application and blending. The natural-fiber brush hair is formed without using scissors or razors to deliver precise makeup results.
http://rstyle.me/n/dn7atzmbn

Here is a photo of the brush.  Let me know if you would like a more detailed photo or comparison.

So that is all for now.  Sorry about the blog look and issues.  The video link and links for all the products I am wearing.
