Tested Tarte ReCreate Primer

So I gave this primer a test run yesterday. I had received a sample with a Sephora order. I haven't really been using primer much lately because I feel I don't need it as much in Fall. My skin was feeling a bit dull so I figured I would give it a shot. This primer is silicone free which is super important to me, since ones with silicone seem to break me out.

I put it on let it set in and it felt really good so far. Then I applied liquid foundation over it and it applied very well. However the biggest issue was the wear time. It didn't help my foundation stay on, it didn't reduce pore size or oils. I don't really think it it is something I would purchase. It is a shame, because I really wanted to like it. Plus side- it didn't break me out. So I guess it is on to the next sample!

Have you tried this primer? If so what do you think about it?
